You Can Help Us Positively Impact The Lives Of These Young Adults.

It’s been ten years since the Syrian people took to the streets in March of 2011 to start a revolution. The call for regime change during the Arab Spring instilled hope in the hearts of everyone in Syria who had been brutalized and oppressed by the ruling government.

Those hopes have been dashed by a decade of civil war and armed conflict.

We have witnessed the brazen bombing of civilian areas, the horrific deployment of chemical weapons, the deliberate withholding of food, supplies and medical care, and the loss of over 500,000 human lives. This revolution-turned-war zone has displaced over 8.7 million people. The victims of the civil war fled to countries like Lebanon, Turkey, Egypt, and Germany, places where our critically needed work began.

Lighthouse Peace Initiative (LPI Corp) is a non-profit organization dedicated to improving the quality of life for the most vulnerable populations across the world. Our primary programs are educational and art-based, and focus on providing support to impacted communities.

LPI Corp’s Manara Center is our latest project in Lebanon, where over a million Syrian refugees reside. The Manara Center was created to enrich the lives of refugee children, teenagers and young adults, as well as the local vulnerable Palestinian and Lebanese youth. Inside the safety of the center, these underserved kids and youths take courses in art, filmmaking, music, theater, and language with the support of our social workers.

Since its opening in 2018, the Manara Center has worked closely with the refugee community to help educate and inspire over 800 young adults and 300 kids. Our teachers and mentors provide the guidance and educational programs to help these youth grow into good citizens of the world.

For the past few months our fundraising efforts have been severely hampered by the gobble shift in humanitarian needs.

Today, we are in dire need of your support. Help us to help our students continue to learn and express themselves through our art and education programs. Contribute to the cause. Over the years, your donations have touched the lives of these very special children and young adults, some of whom have never seen the inside of a school room. Donate now and help the Lighthouse Peace Initiative be a beacon of hope in these dark times.
